MacMunn & Sons create attractive and functional signs from a variety of woods - Western Red Cedar, Alaska Yellow Cedar, Bald Cypress, Redwood, Mahogany and HDU, as well as Butternut, for interior use only.   Using the highest quality paints and stains, our team of artists will create almost anything you can imagine with wildlife and nature scenes, of course, being our specialty.

     Since every sign and location poses its own set of challenges, we prefer to take a good look at the site before recommending anything.   Lighting, obstructions, setbacks, ordinances and distance visibility all factor in the final design.   For locations beyond our normal coverage, we require photos of the site, as well as a few measurements.   This will enable us to create the "perfect" sign for the application.

      Our normal coverage area is Eastern Ontario, but our wood suppliers are in BC, so we often can do installations in the west.   We ship with Greyhound, Trio Transport and UPS, although if possible, we prefer to deliver and install ourselves.   Kits are available for those who are confident that they can do their own installation, and all post or wall mounts are priced individually, as required.

      The quality of a sign in front of a business is usually a good indication of the quality you will find inside.   Both classy and distinctive, a carved wooden sign may be what sets your business apart from the competition.   We can work with existing logos or create a whole new look, if required.

      Our signs also make great gifts, especially for the friend or relative who "has everything".   Gift certificates are also available.

      Although longevity is usually the deciding factor in our choice of materials, some maintenance will still be necessary.   The first refurbishing is usually required after about five years, although sun and salt-spray exposure (or lack of) can decrease or increase this substantially.   Rather than a time limited warranty, we offer the first refurbishing free of charge, although there may be some freight costs.   With regular care and attention, your sign will last for many years.

     We take a great deal of pride in building the "perfect" sign for each and every customer.   Doing this can result in a great deal of time in the design stage, however, we are sure you will find our pricing quite competitive.
